Russian Association of Cryptoindustry and Blockchain (RACIB)

RACIB is the association that unites members of the Russian crypto market, created to integrate blockchain technology and products developed on its basis into the economy of our country.
The membership of our organization includes over 2000 members and participants representing various directions of development of the industry: cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, mining, ICO and crowdinvesting.
We coordinate the business activities of our members, represent and protect the common interests of the industry in dialogue with the state authorities of the Russian Federation.
The initiative to create RACIB came from the members of the Russian crypto industry, the idea was supported at the level of the country's leadership.
The President of the Association is currently Yuri Pripachkin, who heads the Board of RACIB, the Executive body of the Association, consisting of vice-presidents.
Representative offices of the Association operate in 15 regions of the Russian Federation. In 2018, a representative office of RACIB was opened in Switzerland.
We are in a constant dialogue with representatives of legislative and executive authorities of the Russian Federation, the Central Bank, agencies responsible for the financial and info communication industry of our country.

The main form of our work is: participation in the development of the legal framework, expertise and evaluation of technological projects created on the basis of blockchain technology, assistance in the implementation of digitalization of the Russian economy, development of the industry standards and certification of the market participants.

We try to convey the industry's position as fully as possible by holding and participating in public events, preparing analytical information distributed through mass media and social media, open dialogue with government agencies during parliamentary hearings, expert meetings and meetings in ministries, departments, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

 

 

 

 

Facts about RACIB

RACIB prepared a draft law “On Amendments to the Federal Law “On the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Russian Federation” and other legislative acts of the Russian Federation”, regulating the cryptocurrency market.

RACIB prepared an expert analysis of the bills: “On Amending Part One, Two and Four of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation”, “On Digital Financial Assets” and “On Alternative Methods of Attracting Investments (crowdfunding)”, at the request of the Expert Council of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market.

The President of RACIB Yuri Pripachkin is a member of the Council for the development of the digital economy under the upper house of the Russian Parliament.

RACIB initiated creation of an international fund for the protection of investors` rights in ICO. The first task of the fund was the crypto investors' collective lawsuit against the prohibition of cryptocurrency advertising in Google, Facebook and Twitter.

RACIB created a Committee on trading, which deals with the certification and training of cryptocurrency traders, and also is responsible for the development of legislative and tax framework in the relevant area.

RACIB conducted a large-scale research devoted to the studies of the Russian regions attractiveness in terms of cryptocurrencies mining. As resulted, work is being done to digitalize the system of public administration in certain regions of the Russian Federation.

RACIB held a congress of the crypto industry representatives in the framework of the international forum BLOCKCHAINRF-2018 which had been attended by more than 2000 industry representatives.

RACIB organized and held a “Blockchain Economics” award for outstanding services in the area of blockchain technology development, the nominees of which were leading Russian companies and state bodies (PJSC Sberbank, PJSC Megafon, DIT Moscow, Rosreestr, FinTech Association and others).

RACIB has developed and implements a system of certification of mining hotels and data centers.

RACIB initiated a creation of international decentralized association of cryptocurrency and blockchain (IDACB) to develop uniform standards of regulation of this sphere.

In September 2018, Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and President of RACIB Yuri Pripachkin agreed to create an Eurasian mining pool in Chechnya. The mining pool will be the first step in the implementation of the program “Crypto Chechnya”, which is aimed at development of the region's economy using blockchain technology.
