Chairman of the State Duma Financial Market Committee Anatoly Aksakov explained to Izvestia that identification of crypto investors is needed within the framework of anti-laundering legislation execution.

The Russian Association of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain (RACIB) also supports the register creation. Moreover, the RACIB is preparing a report to the Russian president, which contains proposals to accelerate the development of the crypto industry in the country.
